EXTRA THOUGHTS:

-This episode showed what happened 996 years ago, so currently, that makes Marceline 1003 years old and Ice King 1043 years old.

-If that "Cheers theme song" Simon sings has anything to do with what the current year is, "Cheers" aired Sept/30/1982 - May/20/1993, So in that spectrum,
does that mean 996 years ago was the year "1982 - 1993" and the current year in Ooo is "2978 - 2989"?

-In the end of the episode, it looks as though Marcy and Simon get cornered into a prison.

-Why does Simon start calling Marcy, "Gunther?" Is that someone Simon knew? Because I'm pretty sure, the penguins don't come into the picture until much later.

-Betty, Simon's fiancee, is not mentioned at any time in this episode. Has he forgotten about her already? Or is he too focused on protecting Marcy?

-An interesting afterthought, when reviewing this episode and the older episode from Season 3 Episode 20 "Holly Jolly Secrets Part 2"
It (seems) as though Simon looks more like Ice King when making the video about Betty, not when with Marcy. BUT the fact that his glasses are broken with Marcy, dissprove that.
